HI Karen,
I think you are right on Target. It takes awhile to lose the weight. What kind of surgery did you have? I don/'t know if you posted that. I have lost about 58 lbs in five months. I only have thirty pounds to go and it is so slow but I am not getting discouraged. I am also 57 years old. The doc said because I don't have that much more weight to lose and my age. I will lose slower.
Hang in there, you are doing great. Make sure you get all your protein in and water.

Everyone loses at their own pace. It's ahrd to be pateint (especially when you see otehrs losing more quickly), but trust me... the weight WILL come off as long as you hang in there.
What are you eating (besides cheese!) to get your protein in? Increasing your protein will help the weight loss (partly because the more protein you eat, the less room for anything else).
