LOL -- it's pretty boring these days, as nothing new and interesting happens much anymore, but definitely browse through my archives, and ask me anything.

If memory serves (I'm pre-op and I'm going by the eval months ago) you'll see the NUT everytime you're scheduled to see Dr.A. But can anyone confirm?

If not, I'd call and ask.

I've not seen a nut at any of my appts.  I met with her at my pre-op testing and orientation and wasn't impressed at her lack of DS knowledge.

I have never seen a nutritionist at Dr Rita's office...  the only time I EVER saw one (and I'm only 21 months post-op, so this has been relatively recent) was three times at the Sycamore WLS office for the 3-month supervised diet before insurance would approve surgery.  Someone also CALLED me on the phone when I was about 6 months out and asked a bunch of questions and said it sounded like I was doing well with eating and that I didn;t have to come in unless I really wanted to (but that there would be a wait because they were down a person).

I did, however, see Tavien (exercise physiologist) in her office for my 3-month supervised diet period...

Add me to the list.  Surgery is next week.  I was looking for some comments on Dr. Anderson and what you all thought of her.  Please let me know your opinions on her and your opinions of the work she did.  Thanks all!

I had the DS and am very satisfied with my recovery and results so far. Dr.Rita was very proficient. I had heard that she was very warm, but didn't see that until my 3 month follow-up appt. *shrug* I value skill over bedside manner, but would like both...who wouldn't?

If you have more specific questions feel free to pm me. I'll be thinking of ya next week!
