I think I am eating to much
Hello all , I am 4 mos post-op RNY and have lost 62 pds so far, I have had about 3 stalls also, But my main concern is that at times I am able to eat more than I should be able to. I can eat steak about 4-5oz of it and 1/2 c of green beans, I think is way to much at one meal, then at other times I can't eat very much and get full fast. I don't know what to think of this. I know I don't get in all the fluids that they want but with my job that is VERY hard to do. I am about 40 pds from my goal, but am afraid that with the amounts at times that I can eat that I will regain. I do take all my vits that I am suppose to.but I must admit that I was not an exercise fan before and still not one yes moving around is alot easier now , but i am burned out on the gym stuff for now. I do alot of walking when I work on my feet most of my 8 hrs shifts, but I know there should be more. I am having some issues with the loose skin too and well lets just say I had better hit a lottery to ever have the money to have it done. Most days i do get in 3 meals and a snack or two some days, I do better when I work it seems. When at home I eat something in the am then not again till supper time when hubby gets home, just not hungery at others times. I know that our pouches are to strech overtime but I wonder if I didn't stretch mine to quickly. any suggestions would be great. thanks everyone.
measure your food to what your nut has told you to have. and stop eating when its gone.
eat for 10 minutes, stop, rest for 5-10 minutes and then finish if you are still hungry.
just because we can doesn't mean we should.
hugs.

You have some good advice here. Perhaps another thing to do is just plan your meals now as meticulously as you did at the beginning. I am nearly 15 months out and still use Fitday everyday. It keeps me honest and I know what I can and cannot do.
I understand your fear and concerns so well. Breathe and do the best you can. This is a lifelong process about health. Taking care of you is what is important.
