So pissed at myself

So, I had my last appt last Tuesday with my PCP, everything was submitted to my insurance company that day and my approval came through on this past Friday. I had to go to my PCP this afternoon for some yearly tests, got on the scale, and I had gained 4 pounds! WTF is going on??? I know I have not been as strict with my diet this past week as I was the past 6 months, but good god, I really have not been doing that bad. Now I am petrified to go see my surgeon in 2 weeks. Can I loose this 4 pounds plus the 4 he was already requesting of me in 2 weeks? Should I start a liquid protein diet tomorrow? I am so nervous now he is going to tell me I can't have the surgery!
What a wonderful ride this is!!!!!

I would go ahead and start on your diet now and get the groove going.  Your weight will start to come off eating less and on a strict diet.  It's better in the long run as your liver will also shrink.  Good luck and think good thoughts.

Can you lose the weight?  Sure you can.  Try your hardest to lose that eight pounds to show your surgeon that you are ready, willing and able to do whatever it takes.

PS - Does your PCP's scale match yours at home, or your surgeon's?  Maybe it is different?

Evev though I haven't had surgery yet, ijust wanted to remind you that you must remember to eat the required number of calories each day to lose and drink lots of water, or the weight gain maybe to you monthly comming around the corner. Hang in there you've come so far. Two steps forward one backwards, you'll get there eventuallym
