Good Morning everyone,
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Years.  Wondering if anyone has had plastics in my area "Kettering"  and if they can recommend a plastic surgeon?   I know the bariatric Doctor can do the tummy thing but I want to find out how much a TT at the plastic surgeon will cost because I need serious plastics for my entire body.
Thanks Tammy

When doing plastic after WLS you need to make sure your doc has had exerience with WLS skin. It can be very diffferent from a reg TT.  There are 2 very good docs if you want to go to Cin area. Dr. Jennifer Butterfield  or Dr. Kurtis W. Martin, I have heard both speak and know of several who have used them Cost could be anywhere from $5000 on up to well over $20000.   If I ever win the lottery some money if going for plastics.
Good Luck in your search.

I used Dr Martin in Cincy for my arms and Dr Simman (at Sycamore hospital) for my panniculectomy.  Both did good work.  Dr Martin has a lot of experience with WLS patients and Dr Simman is a wound care specialist so he also knows a lot about the skin issues of people who lost a lot of weight.

I know people who have also used (and liked) Drs Percy, Schmidt (or maybe it was Fox...?  they are in the same office), and Eslami (female, if you care).

Costs vary a LOT by surgeon and facility.  Be sure to ask about how many follow-up visits are included with the surgery price (some include all, some include only 1) and ask about their policy on revisions (is there a charge for a revision, under what cir****tances, etc.).

Dr Martin's price for the procedures I researched were a little higher than some, but the facility charges were lower than for KKettering or Sycamore hospital, and all of his folloow-ups are covered in the cost of surgery.  I need a revision on one of my arms and he will be doing it for no charge.
