Support Group Toledo area??
Not sure if you ever got a hold of Kristy about the support group. I went this past Wednesday and asked about other docs patients. They are totally OK with anyone coming... they just put one stipulation on it. You can't say that "well my doc doesn't say that", or "my program lets me do x". But you are welcome to come and enjoy the support and program. The meetings are always the first Wednesday of the Month from 6p-8p. We usually have a guest speaker the first hour, then we have an open discussion for the 2nd hour.

THE TOLEDO HOSPITAL HOSTS BARIATRIC SURGERY INFORMATIONAL SEMINARS, SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS
TOLEDO, Ohio -The Toledo Hospital Bariatric Surgery Program hosts monthly informational seminars and support groups.
Informational seminars for patients interested in learning more about bariatric surgery will be held the second Tuesday of every month from 6 – 8 p.m.
Support group sessions will be held the first Wednesday of every month from 6 – 8 p.m.
Both meetings are held at 3909 Woodley Rd. Suite 200, Toledo (located just south of Westfield Franklin Park).

I moved back to the Toledo area in May and would love a support group. I am struggling to keep my weight off and lose more. I have lost 130 lbs. since my surgery and have gained back 20 pounds. I had my surgery in 2005 I am back to some of my old habits. I live very near Perrysburg. I would be interested in joining a support group. I had the RNY surgery.
