I have a surgery date!!

After a long journey and having to switch surgeons, I finally have a surgery date of November 17th! I am so excited and am very thankful to this site for helping me find Dr. White. Thank you to those who posted on my first day here because you helped me in finding Dr. White. It won't be long now and I will be starting my new life.

just wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming date for WLS!!! your day will be here before you know it!!! remember to take some chap stick along for after surgery when you get the dry mouth and lips!! remember to walk walk walk and sip sip sip and you will be fine!!! keep us posted on your journey!! best wishes!!!!

Hi Angie,

Congrats on your surgery date!!! Dr. White is awesome, and so is his nurse Cathy who you will deal with a lot after surgery!!! I had Dr. White and am very greatful to the new life he has helped me to get!!!

Do you go to the support group meetings up here in Toledo? There is one tonight.... looking forward to perhaps meeting you!!

I agree that Dr. White and Cathy are both great. I was very impressed with both of them when I met them.

I did attend the support group meeting. Too bad I didn't check out the replies to my post before leaving for the meeting or I could have met you in person. I am making it a personal goal for me to attend the support group each month, so am I sure that we will meet soon!

11/17 is a GREAT DATE........................I'll be 5 years on that date. Just keep reading, posting, researching and listen to your doc and nut AND if something doesn't feel right CALLL THEM.

I think it is so neat that we both will have the same surgery date. Thank you for the good advice and I intend to be very active in doing what I have to and learning as much as possible to help me get healthy again.
