Sleeve (vsg) in Ohio

Who did you use here in Ohio and what did it cost.

I'm really leery of flying to mexico to have this done. I'm paying cash and I would rather have it done in Ohio.

So, if you had it done here - Where? and How Much? Are you satisfied with the results?

I really wanted the VSG but my insurance would not approve it.  But I did go to Trace Curry when I found out he was doing them.  (Dr. Curry ended up doing my lap band)  He is located in Cincinnati, here is his web site.  Sorry I don't know what he charges, you'd have to contact them.

I think Dr. Brian Lane does them also, he's located somewhere in Toledo, I believe.  I'm sure there are others around the state that do them.  It seems like someone mentioned a doctor in Dayton that does them too but I don't know the name.  Good Luck.

Dr Brian Lane is doing my surgery in 2 short weeks! I am very excited. He is in Toledo now their number is 419-383-3759. I am not sure on prices as my insurance covered mine. I do know that Dr. Lane worked with Dr. Hess who first did the VSG as part of the DS. I have been very pleased with him and his staff.

Dr. Schumacher in Miamisburg Ohio..Very good with out of state people. He always wanted to be a doctor even in High School .. And his medical heart and head are hooked up together., he cares . Some docs don't have that compassion it's God given!
He went to school High school with my sister.And it depends on your insurance.

I live in Ohio and I went to Michigan in August of 2007. Dr. Pleatman at Pontiac Hospital. With the hotel stay and everything it cost me about 12,700.00, I was a self-pay. I wast going to have the VSG done  in Bowling Green Ohio, but being a self pay it was going to cost me $23,000.00 so I went to Michigan.

I would highly recommend Dr. Pleatman. I was very lucky and had absolutely no problems. I was back to work in about 7 days.

I feel great, I am down 103 pounds, still have more to go but I am getting there.

I went to Dr. Dirk Rodriguez out of Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. I was self-pay, and it was $14,500

If you're self pay and looking to save money, you might check out Dr. Pleatman, just outside of Detroit. He's doing the VSG for $11,700, including everything.
