medical mutual

I didn't have any problem with MM.  My approval came back within a week and the nurse called and scheduled me.  It was crazy, I thought it would take much longer and hadn't even gotten my leave from work. 

Great thanks for the reply. I called today and they still havent got the paperwork it was sent by mail too much for the clinic to fax. I told the insurance lady today that I was  a nervous wreck just waiting on them to get the paperwork. I am already tenativly sceduled for 11/25/08.

I have MM.  My paperwork was submitted Sept 25th.  Got a call that they wanted a sleep study Sept 29th.  They should have the report by this Tuesday.  Am hoping and praying to have a response by Friday.  Since my paperwork has been submitted, it's all I think about!

Another interesting note:  When I searched Medical Mutual of Ohio denial on OH, there was very little.  When I searched Medical Mutual of Ohio approval, a lot more came up.

Seems like if you've followed their protocol, they'll approve.

I asked the Clinic and they said that MMO was pretty good. I researched it on other sites couldnt get current info that is why I asked on this forum when I found it and I feel better from talking to you all. Good luck in your approval keep me posted and I will do the same.

I did have 2 sleep studies b/f my paperwork was submitted.  My only issues aside from being overweight was sleep apnea and joint pain, but I was headed down the road to many other health problems.  I am so thankful for my rny - it has changed my life and the way I feel about myself. 

I have severe sleep apnea, diabetes, leg ulcers from my diabetes,  knee,foot and ankle arthritis, carcinoid tumors,asthma and I am way over weight I feel I need the rny to save my life and for my self image. I am so happy for you that it has changed your life so much for the better. I pray I have the same sucess

Is some of the Medical Mutual info I was provided.

Thanks but I already had this, I am hoping that the CC sent everything. I provided all my medical records from the past 5 years to the CC so in case the insurance company needed it. Thanks again. Maybe someone out there wont know about this policy and it will be helpful.
