2 year surgiversary!

Well, it has been 2 years today since my life changing days... Wasnt easy, never thought I would say "I would do it all over again", due to all the complications I had with the surgery, BUT, here I am....Healthier and happier than I have been in a LONG LONG time. Yes, I would do it all again, even if I knew I would have to go through the exact same thing.

It has been an amazing journey, I weigh almost exactly what I weight last year on this day, and that is crazy. I was such a yo-yo dieter my whole life, I never saw the same number twice in a week on the scale, let alone a year! So much good has come, I no longer have sleep apnea, arthrits doesnt bother my joints anymore, no more asthma...the list goes on. I keep up with all my kids, and play with them. I am no longer the fat mom on the sidelines watching my life go by. I am part of it, and that is a huge and wonderful blessing. Sure, I have to watch everything I eat, and I exercise 4 times a week, but it is SO worth it, and really just a part of my life now. I dont have to think about it anymore, I just do it. I saw Celine Dion 2 nights ago, and sat 12 rows on the floor in front of Celine. The chairs were small, the walk to the Q was long, and I NEVER worried, "would I fit in the chairs, are people staring at me in disgust. can I walk that far and keep up with my friends?") I felt good, looked good, even stood in front of my seat and danced!! I didnt care how I looked, because my self esteem is so much higher that it has ever been. I am LIVING and feeling great.

Just wanted to share with you all, enjoy your journeys...We get but 1 life, enjoy!
