OT I got a RAISE and PROMOTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not really that big of a deal but It showes that I'm doing SOMETHING RIGHT!!!!!! SO sit back and read the BABBLY!!!!!!!
It's not the highest paying job or the most prestige job BUT I really LOVE WORKING RETAIL!!!!!!!!! I went to collage for Fashion Merchandising and tried the management/salaried stuff and just didn't like it. I like working with the customers (Nutty ones and all they make the day go faster) ANYWAY......... I've been really scared because they have hired 4 more people to share the hours I work so I'm thinking I've really dome something wrong I screwed up BIG TIME..I'm getting cut WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a fancy new title also. LOL Customer Service Supervisor. ANYWAY on Tuesday before I leave one of the manangers said that she wanted to talk to me before I clock in on Wednesday to come in about 10 min early.... I'm thinking OK some customer has COMPLAINED about me and I'm gonna get yeled at and slapped on the hand and be but on probation or something . Well on Wednesday everyone was caling off and I got called in early, so when things finally slowed down I ask if it was OK to go have our talk. I told the other supervisor that I was on my way to the PRINCIPALS office and she said not to worry it's a VERY GOOD thing. ANYWAY it's really nice to know that you are doing something right and that your bosses ( there is 1 mananger, 2 asst manangers, 1 suppervisor that had to approve this) appreciate what you are doing. I have always tried to tell my kids that I really don't care what they do just be THE BEST you can at it.
OK I think I'm done babbling for now. I just wanted to share some GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!
