surgery cancelled because no power at hospital!

They cancelled my surgery this morning because the hospital has only emergency power. I cannot get in touch with teh surgeon;s office to find out when they can reschedule it (their phone lines are out)... but if I cannot get it done AND be recovered and back to work by the 29th, I cannot have it (because I change companies -- but the same job -- on the 29th and will have NO sick time accrued to take).

I am SO upset. The arms I can live with, but the OTHER thing... yuck.... I *cannot* live with that for another 6 - 9 months! {tears}

well the good news is parts of blue ash DO have power. I'm at work in blue ash (just outside of deer park) so maybe later today you'll get good news.

Grr...we have the same problem had to cancel cases today. Not only that but since we are 100% computerized we can't even get patient's phone numbers, I'm driving around all morning looking for a WIFI hotspot!!!!

yea it was weird that we had power at work. I live a 10 minute walk away and we didn't have power til 6pm last night. My brother (whom lives down the block from me) didn't have power til 4 am this morning
