I'm back up 3 lbs this week!!

And I walked my ass off this past weekend! Ok, I have to stay focused  and remember this is only a path (WW) leading to a goal (RNY).  As long as I stay on the path and don't turn back, I will achieve!  But damn, after a 6.8 week and then a 1.8 week, I just want to throw my hands up and say "what the....?"

I know how you are feeling, but a small weight gain can be anything..water retention or maybe with your walking, you could be building up your muscles. Don't worry too much about it. You are still doing a great job...

I know it's disappointing but try not to weigh in to often.  Your weight will fluctuate and you may just be retaining some extra water, etc...  Next week you may find that you lose 6 pounds.  Stay on track- YOU CAN DO IT!!!

I have to weigh in at WW weekly as part of my insurance requirement.  Once I get done with them I plan on only weighing when I am at my surgeon's office for check ups.  I don't even own a scale and don't plan on buying one!  I hope it is muscle building, but as big as I am, I can't believe it would be building already when there is still so much fat there.

Congrats on being active! Maybe someone can do a set of body measurements on you periodically so you have a better idea whats going on.

Thanks rad, that's a good idea.  I'll have my sister do that for me next time I am out there.  Good thinking!

It could be muscle but I am betting it is swelling n water retention.  Start drinking more water and see that scale move. BUt the muscles are they and they are toning up so keep walking too
