I'm looking for some fun....

That got your attention!!  I am pre-surg and noticed during the past several months that there are groups out there for post-surg's all over, but nothing specific to pre-surg patients.  So, I thought maybe I would try to find some people in the area (I live in Akron) that might start a little group with me.  Instead of meeting up after surgery for support, we could start now, pre-surg and see each other through it.  I noticed many people seem to be <1 year away from their hopeful dates.  I'm not talking about meeting like the post-surg groups do at the hospital or whatnot.  I'm talking about meeting to play cards, walk, walk dogs, play board games, bowl, etc.  I saw Lisa had a bowling league she joined.  Maybe we could get a foursome together to make up a team or something and join her and her boyfriend.  Or if that's too expensive we could go bowling on our own once a month.  I like the companionship of OH, but I'd like to broaden my horizons off the computer and meet some people in person and strike up some lasting friendships!  Anyone interested?

Cleveland isn't that far!  If we get a group together we can do the halfway thing!  Maybe in Brecksville or something.  I'll keep you posted.

I also go bowling on Sundays just for fun either at Midway Lanes or Akron Lanes. I'm sure you know that one? LOL..I grew up at that place.

I'm sort of out on the bowling thing (being post op) and don't really qualify for the gang as I'm post op, but don't leave me out if there's fun to be had!

I'm not trying to exclude anyone!  All are welcome!  I'm just trying to get some pre-opers together, too!  Anyone that wants to join in is more than welcome!  I'd like to broaden my horizons and meet lots of people to do activities.  Just wanted to try to get some folks together to walk along the same road at roughly the same time.  I would be lost without the post-ops I have met already, they provide invaluable support.
