I finally have a surgery date!
My surgery date is Sept. 10th for lapband surgery with Dr. Choban at Mt. Carmel West! I am so excited! It has been a long process for me. I started this process in March 2007 so I am so glad to have it coming to an end, also a new beginning! I lurk around on OH all the time and have gotten some great information from you all. I hope to be able to return the favor as I start my weight loss journey with the lapband...

I was so excited to get my date because it has taken me so long to get through this process,( since March 2007). I am a lil worried now because in the last couple days I have had trouble with some heart arrhythmias. My cardio doc wanted me to lose 50+ pounds and then undergo another heart ablation, (my first one in 2003 was unsuccessful). He thinks the second one could possibly due the trick and then I could get off my meds. He says my weight is driving my blood pressure and my blood pressure is driving my arrhythmia. Now I have had a new arrhythmia, a ventricular ectopy, not my usual SVT. My family doc is hoping it is just a fluke and I am on a monitor. I will have results Monday. This all just seems like such a crazy round robin.. I need to lose weight to control an arrhythmia, but the arrhythmia might prevent me from having surgery to lose weight......... GO FIGURE. I guess I just need to vent a little cause I am really quite scarred. I am only 37 and have a family.. I will just keep saying prayers.. Thanks for listening.
