The new birthday is tomorrow at Sycamore with Dr Schumacher! I am very excited and scared to death at the same time. I have waited so long and it is here..I get my sleeve tomorrow. Bags are packed and I am ready but now what do I do to keep my mind off this..I walked today I think maybe  I will go to the Greene and see a movie and window shop..looking at the beautiful clothes I will soon fit into!
Please say a prayer and keep me in your thoughts

Good luck to you and I'll say a prayer that you recover quickly.  Just think a couple weeks from now and you'll be sharing some great weight loss stories with us.  I'm still pre-op (surgery 8/28) so I understand a bit of the jitters.  You'll be fine.  Take care.

The nerves are completely normal.  Seeing a movie sounds like a great way to take your mind off of it!  I'm sure you'll do just fine, and soon you'll be watching the weight melting off and complaining about stalls like the rest of us!

I will be thinking of you and sending a special prayer your way...
Just wanted to let u know having gastric bypass surgery changed my life completely for the better.  I was SO nervous the day before the surgery, I remember being full of anxiety. 2 years later, I am such a different person. I am PART of my family now, being able to keep up with my 4 young kids is SO great!  I can really PLAY with them now, went to Disney last year and fit in all the rides, ran the parks with them and truly felt so "normal". Words cant explain the wonderful feelings I have. I am healthier, happier and just enjoying my life. I feel so blessed. I wish you all the same for you and your big day tomorrow.
Lots of good thoughts sent to you,
Let us know how u are doing,
Michelle
