I had my WLS with Dr. Z about 6 months ago and have never looked back!  Dr. Dan did the initial presentation I attended but my DH had already had WLS with Dr. Z and I LOVED LOVED LOVED him.  Dr. Z & Dr. Dan's staff are outstanding.   If you're worried about your insurance, call Bev.  She is one of the most knowledgeable people I have met and answered all of my billing questions.  Also, start going to the support groups if you haven't already.   They are the 4th Wednesday of each month.  Talk to Robin (the nutrionist).  She'll put you on her e-mail list and send send you a monthly reminder about the meeting and the featured presenter.  I am SOOOO happy that I made the choice to go with Summa.  If you have any questions that I can help with, let me know!

It is so nice to meet you. Thank you for all your advice. I had met Dr. Z almost 2 years ago when I went to my first seminar, but I was scared to move forward with the surgery. I finally decided to go to another seminar and I had also met Dr. Dan at the last seminar, and I thought he was really nice too. So this time when I went to the seminar, I just told myself that since I liked both Doctors, that which ever one was at the seminar, he would be my choice..lol The lucky Doctor is...Dr. Dan!!..lol
I will talk to Bev soon and at my appointment on the 27th, I'll get my name on the list for the support meetings! I can use all the help and advice I can get right now. Yesterday I was freaking out, but today I'm calm. My emotions are up and down all the time. I'm afraid to see how I'll be when I'm waiting to see if I get approved. I'll need a straight jacket..lol
