Approved and moving fast
Okay, so it's moving even faster than I realized. I have a date for August 28th at 1pm. I don't know if I should jump for joy or puke!
My husband is so excited for me and really supportive/optimistic. My parents on the other hand are nervous wrecks and make it hard for me not to consider the issues I might have.
I'm on an emotional roller coaster and can't get off.

That is great!! August 28 you begin your new life!
My husband was my biggest supporter and still is. He loves the new me (well he loved the old me too). It's very normal to be nervous. I wrote letters to all my family and did all the crazy things before surgery. My boss looked in my desk after I had left and had a fit because I had it all cleaned out in case I didn't make it back. If it helps any I have no regrets (well the one that I should have done this years ago).
You will get alot of good advice here.
Try to relax and it will be over soon.

Stacy,
One of the biggest things I noticed since surgery and I started feeling it right away is being able to breath. I carried most of my weight in my middle section and didn't realize how hard it was to breath.
Time will fly. It will be nice that your family will be here. My parents were nervous for me also but just prior to my surgery my dad met someone that had had it and that changed his mind about the surgery.

I carry so much of my weight in the same place. 1 1/2 years ago I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and my air pressure is at 17 with 20 being the highest. It seems unbelievable to me that I ended up here and now it will seem unbelievable when I reach my goal that I was ever here in the first place. I will be so happy to play with my kids without running out of breath- I hate that!
