Stuck at 25

I had surgery on June 11th and am down 25 pounds.    I have lost may 1/2 pound since last Friday (today is Wednesday), although I haven't changed much in my "diet".  I am getting really depressed and paranoid that I'm stuck.  Please tell me if I'm being crazy or not!

That's over 6 pounds a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you a 'light weight'?  You might not have as much to lose.
What type of WLS did  you have?? RNY, Band, BP-DS, Sleeve??? Banders lose slower.
Are you logging your food?? Write down EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth.
Are you following your doc and nuts  food list??
Are you working out?? Musle weighs more than fat
Are you taking your measurements? You still could be losing inches.
You might be right on track for you.
Good Luck,
Robin

It is VERY common to hit stalls periodically, even during the first two months.  As long as you are doing what you are supposed to be doing (vitamins, water, whatever exericse has been approved, etc.), and eating only what (and as much) as you are supposed to, don't worry.  The weight loss will pick back up again.

I think it's a shame that more surgeons don't warn their patients BEFORE they have surgery to expect these stalls.  So many people worry needlessly...

Don't forget your water. Upping your water can break a stall. It hydrates the system n flushes. At least 64 but try to get more

Thanks much to everyone *****sponded.  I broke my "stall" today and hit 26 pounds.  Yeah!  I guess a few more specifics would have been good.  I am 5' tall and my weight the day of surgery was 227.  Today 201.  Thanks for all the advice.  Fluids have been an issue, I can't seem to get my 60+ a day.  I am pushing them more this week and have started a slightly more rigorous exercise program.  Thanks again.

Just do the best you can on the fluids.  It's VERY common to not be able to get in all of the recommended fluid at first.  (It took me until I was 6 months out to get all 64 ounces in every day... and even now, almost 1 year post-op, I still struggle with it some days.  My surgeon didn't seem very concerned about it, though... either at 3 months post-op or the last time I saw her .)

Thanks, that makes me feel sooo much better.  I feel like I'm failing at the end of the day when I look at how much I actually drank, when it feels like I drank all of Lake Erie.  I usually get close to 45 oz.
