what is a stomachphyx?

Anyone have a clue what it is, where it is done in ohio and the cost? Does insrance cover it? Thanks

It is used on someone who previously had gastric bypass surgery but have started gaining weight.  They use a special scope and go down your esophagus to your pouch and  make the stoma and/or pouch smaller (depending on the "problem").

I have no idea whether or not insurance covers it but it is considered by some to still be very experimental (and insurance companies usually stay as far away from experimental procedures as possible).
