Ol it is Sunday and I have surgery on Friday!! I am so excitied!~!!!
I am doing very well with my diet!!!!! I am very proud of myself!!!!
I am a lil scared about surgery day!! My hubby will be there when I am in suregery~~ But will be leaving that afternoon shorty after I get out. Our son is selling his rabbits in the auction at teh fair! This is his first year in 4H and I feel so bad missing it, but daddty is going to drive 1 and half hours to get back to watch him for 2 mins!! It is okay, we are so proud of him!! He is a great kid!!!
I want hubby to go with son, but I hate being alone :-(
Please remeber me in yoru thoughts and prayers!! I am scheduled for 10am on Friday!
Great to hear that your surgery is Friday! Prayers going up for a uneventful surgery and a fast recovery. I have been following your process for a while and it is such good news to have your surgery day almost here. It is a great feeling to be almost there and even better when it is behind you.
It's tough being alone when your in early recovery. Hope you can find someone to stay with you until hubby gets back. Physicially I was fine at that point, but it is nice having a loved one nearby.

hey!!! wishing you the best of luck on your journey!!! wish you would be closer i could come sit with you then...hope your son does well on his rabbit sales....will save a spot for you on the losers bench!!! don't forget to take your chap stick with you!!! remember to sip sip sip and walk walk walk....keep us posted how you are doing when you get back home...

Wishing you the best of luck, Bratette! I know how long you've been waiting for this, and the day is almost here. Don't fret about it...it will be here and over with before you know it. As far as being alone after the surgery...my husband wasn't allowed back with me after I got out of surgery until I was more alert. You just want to sleep for awhile, and your husband can't do much for you at that time anyway. You will be in good hands with the recovery nurses and doctors. Your DH will be with you when you are more awake and in your own room.
Your son will have a lot to tell you about the 4H and the auction when you get home. If you have a long ride home, take a pillow with you for your sore belly to cushion any bumps in the road. You will do fine.
