Atruim Medical center closing the Wellness Center

My doctor is closing her office. I had my Lap Band done 11/6/06. Anyone know of a good doctor in the Greater Cincinnati area taking on patients for Fills only?  I have to find someone. 

Sadly this is old news. It was announced last week in the Middletown Journal on Tuesday that they were closing and really didn't tell anyone.  From my understanding they are sending everyone to the other hospitals in network.Miami Valley Hospital or Good Sam both in Dayton,  Good Luck,  Robin

Try Dr. Trace Curry.

the only thing that sucks about trace curry (and the reason I HAD to switch away from him) is he is now completely OUT of network under all insurance.   so unless you have out of network coverage...you're paying in full with him.

If you call the office they will refer you to someone with Premier Health Partners.

i did call yesterday and was told She wasn't referring patients to anyone. Maybe I got someone that shouldn't have been at the desk. I'll try again.

My surgery was done by her partner Dr. Grijalva and I thought they were refering to Dayton- I think Dr. Mcguire. I would call and talk to Gina the nurse. Dr. Schofield is well known in Bariatrics maybe she's planning on going somewhere else and taking her patients with her. Grijalva is having a real problem with Premier Health Partners and he's still refering patients.

I'm going to call again. Maybe asked to speak to GIna this time.  I really don't want ot go any further North though. The Springboro office was already to far from where I work. I want to go south if anywhere.  But I will call Gina.

I was a patient there also - I'm pre-surgery ....  they referred me to Dr. McGuire and Dr.Teel at Miami Valley Hospital - Dayton.  I went up for an appointment last week.  Nice office - friendly staff -  but a long drive for me - about 90 minutes ...... but worth it !!  Their office is attached to the hospital.  Good Luck! I know Dayton is a long way to go - it is for me as well, but you won't be sorry. I actually find getting to Miami Valley hospital a lot easier than many of the hospitals in Cincinnati - you don't have to go so far into the city. Dr. Teel did my Lap Band and he is wonderful! I have a friend who had Dr. McGuire and she sings his praises. So you can't go wrong with either.
