anyone know a decent tailor/seamstress in Dayton area?
I have several pieces of clothing that were fairly expensive and currently are a bit too big that I would like to see if I could have altered so I can continue to wear them. I do basic sewing myself (when you're only 5'3" tall, you spend a lot of time hemming things!), but these garments need a real tailor.

Thanks! I have had several people say that lately. A few weeks ago my hairdresserr of about 15 years did not recognize me and last week one of the woman at my surgeon's office didn't recognize me until she walked past a THRID time.

If you are ever south of the Dayton Mall I know of a GREAT place in Springboro. They took my daughters ball gown for Rainbow Girls from a 16 to about an 8 and there were about 10 layers of to hem and beads and squines everywhere on the bodice. It was a samlpe so I got a GREAT deal on it and she looks like a princess in it.

I recently took some pants to a place on Watervielt in Belmont called Naree's and she fixed them for me. Actually she took them apart and remade them for me. And she only charges me $10 for them. To me that was better than buying new pants. It might take her a few days to get it done but she will do an excellent job. I know several people who take their stuff there.
Take care,
