Hi Everyone. I have been a member for a little while but have never been on this (Ohio) site. I usually spend time on the big forum absorbing loads of information. I am scheduled for RNY July 3. My daughter is having the same surgery on the same day. (YIKES!!) But we have a lot of support at home so we wanted to do this together and share the recovery, eating plan etc. As the date gets closer the more nervous I get. Its like a double whammy, not only worrying about myself but her too. I am going through the bariatric clinic at the Cleveland Clinic. They are so thourough. Our surgeon is Dr Stacy Brethauer. Does anyone know him? Dr Shauer and Dr Chand seem to be mentioned often but I haven't heard of anyone who has had my surgeon. Anyway, I am starting my liquid diet tomorrow. I need to lose approx 25 lbs for surgery. My daughter (Bri) is waiting to start her liquid diet next week, she only needs to lose 10 lbs. Encouragement at this point would be so greatly appreciated as I have been kind of freaked out. You guys have so much experience to share. Good luck to everyone.

Third fill: 1cc 2/11/09.... Total in band -- 5.9cc's Very slooooow weight loss!
