OT-Places to visit in Cleveland?
Yes Cleveland Rock so the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a must. There is also a rockin' Art Museum in Cleveland if you are into that sort of thing. If you care to venture West a way the Put-In-Bay Cedar Point Area is great. Take a boat ride either along the Cleveland shore or the go visit the Islands at Put-In-Bay.

Cleveland absolutely rocks. I second the recommendation on checking out the West Side Market - it's a very cool experience. Also second the recommendation on checking out the Cleveland Art Museum. If you're here on Saturday, 6/14, check out Parade the Circle at University Circle (which is where the Cleveland Art Museum is located. Here's a link to information about Parade the Circle - it's a lot of fun.

If you go to the West Side Market and like Cuban food, I recommend checking out Leolai Bakery and Cafe. Hands-down fabulous food in a small, local restaurant. If your body can handle some sugar, their flan is some of the best I've ever eaten.

If you like theater, check out what's playing at the Playhouse Square Center - I think Jersey Boys is in town next week. Note: Playhouse Square Center is different than the Cleveland Playhouse, which I think is dark for the summer.

In terms of dining, we're home to the newest Food Network Iron Chef, Michael Simon. He has two restaurants in town, Lola and Lolita. Lola is downtown on East 4th Street and it's more upscale. Lolita is in the Tremont neighborhood, which is about 15 minutes from downtown, and it's more casual. Tremont has lots of great shops and restaurants, and it's a fun place to spend an afternoon walking around, checking things out, especially the art galleries. Here's a link where you can get more information about the Tremont area:

If you want to get a view of the city from the water, try the Nautica Queen "cruise ship". They offer lunch cruises, ($23.95), dinner cruises ($39.95-$44.95) and a Sunday brunch cruise ($31.95). Again, here's a link for your convenience:

Finally, if you can get a Friday edition of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, it includes "The Friday" section, which contains detailed information about what's going on in town that weekend. It includes dining information, concerts, art festivals, etc. It's a great resource and has lots of information.
Okay, I'm going to stop now - I could go on all day, in case you can't tell.... I'm sure you and your husband will have a great time - Cleveland really is a fun town. Enjoy your anniversary celebration and have a safe trip!!!

I , also, agree for you to try to visit Put-in-Bay. Lots of little small shops, bars, and eateries. The Lake Erie area of Port Clinton and Marblehead are like vactionland. Both have really neat small shops to visit and Marblehead has the beautiful light house. We just got back on Friday. It was our second trip up there and we loved it. Jean
