New to Columbus

Hello to all.  I just moved to Columbus and seeking info on a near bt support group.  I am living up North and just becoming familiar with this area.  Once my insurance clears I will choose a doc from OSU>

Welcome to Columbus. OSU has a bariatric program support group, Mt. Carmel also does (1st Monday of the month) and I believe Riverside and Barix clinic in Groveport does too. Check the different websites for dates/times and hopefully someone can give you a link.  Mt. Carmel info line is 614-234-LIFE http://www.mountcarmelhealth.com/programs-services/bariatric -center/ The monthly meeting is mixed lapband and RNY or other bariatric patients in an auditorium style setting and they have a monthly speaker and some open Q&A time.  Park in the attached garage and the Medical Staff Bldg where the auditorium is - is to the left of the Emergency Room and you enter on the first floor and the auditorium is on that level.

Welcome to Columbus Gloria !  I live about 1.5 hrs South East of there.  Its a great area with lots to do and see.  Hope you get to go to an OSU football game.  Its a wild experience for sure!  Hope your transition to Ohio is going well.  :)  Susie
