Is there a support group in West Chester/Mason?

Hello all,
This is my first post in the Ohio forum. I was wondring if there is a support group in northern Cincinnati (I live in West Chester). I see that there's one at Deaconess Hospital but that's too far away (I don't know my way around that area). My surgeon has one but it is in Silver Spring Kentucky.

I am 4 plus years out. I haven't had any significant regain and no complications but I still think it would be beneficial, interesting and maybe even fun to attend one.

Hi Marcie, I don't live very far from you and would also love to find a support group closer to home. Even though I'm having my surgery in Dayton, that and Cincinnati are just a little far too drive, on a regular basis, in order to attend a support group.

I live in West Chester too. I would love to be notified if there is a group in our area. Thanks!

Thanks Dr. Curry. I need to call Heidi to get your group schedule. You  know I always try to stay in West Chester when I can.  Just  to let you know, it's going on 4mos. since my VSG & I'm close to 60lbs down! (Kim C here I come! lol)  I no longer need high blood pressure meds & thank goodness - no more cpap machine!  The VSG is best thing I've ever done for myself. Thanks for your surgical expertise & support!

A few of us have been thinking about starting a Cin-Day group, which could meet around the W.C. area.   If we move forward, I will let you all know!

Thanks Dr. Curry and all *****plied. I planned to attend the one in Evendale on June 12th at 7:00 pm but I don't see it on the schedule anymore. The one on June 11th is a new patient info session.

I would be very grateful for any information about new groups starting up in West Chester area.
