Support Groups in Dayton, OH area...

I am looking for a support group in the Dayton area.  Not sure if there is a Lap Band specific group.  Thanks to all in advance for help. Sandi Dayton, OH

Both the surgeons at Miami Valley and the surgeons at Kettering/Sycamore offer support groups (not sure about the doctors at Good Samaritan).  I don't know what the schedule is for the MVH group (I'm sure someone else here can tell you), but there is a support group meeting at Sycamore on the second Wednesday of every month and one at Kettering (it's actually at the church by the hospital) on the 4th Monday of the month (the topics are the same at the two... they just offer them at 2 different tmes at 2 different places).  See http://www.newlifesurgery.org/support.html for details.  The Sycamore/Kettering groups have a mix of people -- some pre-op, some with RNY, some with DS, and some with lap band. There is a monthly support group at Good Sam North (GSN) 9000 N. Main, Englewood, Ohio every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 P.M. Both  RNY and Lapband. I enjoy It.
