Fill Doctor
I'm glad that you're looking ahead of time. A friend of mine in FL was looking into the same thing and no local doc would take her as a patient for her after-care. She ended up having her band inserted locally as a result. She encountered the same problem, though, when she moved to Alabama the next year. Once again, no doc wanted to handle the aftercare of another doc's patient. She eventually found someone, but they're three hours away.

Hi, I am having my lap band placed on May 13 with Dr. Curry. I would highly consider having your surgery done locally. From my research there is so much to learn regarding how to eat two weeks before surgery and then following the band placement. I would also be concerned for your health if something went wrong while in Mexico. I would recommend contacting Dr. Curry to have your surgery. I am a self pay patient and I believe the cost is expensive, but you are worth it. I won't give the cost of the surgery on this site, but if you go to Dr. Curry's informational seminar he will disclose the cost of the surgery whi*****ludes your fills following surgery. I wish you much success in your decision.
