Good morning

Hello girls and boys.  This is where I come to talk to people that sort of can relate to what I am dealing with. Still fighting that fight.  I told God that I wasn't going out without a fight.  I don't ever want to be put on a vent, but I am not ready to leave this earth until God wants me to. There is a girl that had surgery 4.5 years ago, Angie Gormley, she stays on a vent more often than not.  Please, please keep us in your prayers. Angie is not allowed to eat or drink anything at all by mouth.  At least I can do that much.  But my heart bleeds for her. God bless you, Sandy Pierce Angie is from Batavia, Ohio

Why is Angie on a vent? 

She isn't currently on one, but who knows when she will need it again.  She is so frail, and it breaks my heart to see her and others like her.  This surgery needs to be boycotted.  Yeah, you lose weight in the beginnning.  But how many people can say they "kept it off for more than 2-3 years"?  She is a young mother of 2 boys both in high school.   Her husband passed away a few months back.  She has a wonderful mother, sister, dad, and of course me in her life right now.  And who could forget those children? I wish I was in better shape, and I would drive up to her house and take her two boys out to dinner.  With Angie unable to eat or drink by mouth, it make going out impossible.  Her idea of getting out of the house is visiting yet another hospital or doctor.
