hiccups!!

i had lap band surgery thursday,can't say i'm starving but every time i try to drink even a little bit , i get hiccups that last about 5-10 minutes.they go away after i stop trying to drink anything.

I have no advice as I am preop and RNY but I hate the hiccups, so I feel for you!! They ruin the whole day!!{!

Id drink slower!  I hiccup when I am full.  :-)

I often times get hiccups when I eat to fast. They sometimes last for up to 20 to 30 minutes it is very annoying.
