I am currently going through a 12-week behavior modification program with Barix Clinic in Groveport. Dr Ramos is going to be my surgeon. Although I know he doesn't have as much experience as some Drs, all of his is in Bariatrics. I found him to be very nice with a good sense of humor that put me at ease. Hope any of this has helped.
Yes, it helps to further put my mind at ease. Yeah, I agree. He'll be the surgeon for both me and my husband. We're having gastric bypass. Hopefully we'll have dates for pre op testing soon and then get a date for surgery. We've asked for 2 weeks apart. We laugh when we think of Dr. Ramos doing surgery because we envision him standing on a step stool to reach over us. Have you gone to a support group meeting yet? Is your 12 week behavior modification a requirement for your insurance company?
What a small world! My Fiance and I are both having RNY with Dr. Ramos and we are also requesting 2-weeks apart. We were both laughing about him needing a step stool also ( my Fiance is 6'4)...LOL. We haven't been to a support meeting yet, but would like to. It's a matter of finding the time with my work schedule. The 12-week program was a requirement by our insurance company, and I'm very glad that it was. We've learned alot so far.
