I have a date surgery date!!!!!!

I am having my surgery april 29th at wood county hospital. dr. lane is doing it. I am so happy to finally be getting it done. but I am also scared to death I have only heard good things about dr. lane and i am sure everythin will be fine. but i would love to talk to others who had dr. lane or is getting ready to  thanks so much

Congratulations ladybug on getting your date.  It sure is exciting.  I'm having mine done April 15th by Dr. Curry from Cincinnati.  So we'll probably be sitting next to each other on that bench. I don't know anything about Dr. Lane but have heard some great things about him.  I believe he moved here from Michigan.  You could probably go on the Michigan board and ask around. Congrats!!  I am so excited for you.    I can say the only thing I wish different is done it years ago.     Dr. Lane and Amy are great!!    It's been about 8 weeks for me and I feel much better.   If you have any questions or just need to talk send me a  pm.    You will be in very good hands.   Take care and hope to talk to you soon!! Hi Everyone, I am new to th groups but just got a call giving me my surgery date!!! I am so excited. Its June 10th- 5 days before my birthday!!! I am going through Bariatric Wellness in Springboro Ohio and Dr. Grijalva is doing my surgery.... I can't wait!!!!

Good luck to you!!!! and god bless Mine was done 5 days before my birthday also. to me the surgery wasnt too bad pain wise i never took pain meds after the first day. but the wrost part too me was being sick to my stomach that lasted for a few days they give you meds for it.that help but i kept thinking i was going to throw up and that scared me. but just ask for the meds and you will be fine!!!!

Thank you so much... I am alittle nervous about the nausea after surgery, I tend to have a weak stomach. I also have a high tolerance for pain so I think I will be good there..... I feel like I have so much to do in just 3 weeks..... I just can't seem to find the words to explain how I feel right now- too many emotions at once.
