New Support Group

Starting a new Support group in the Delaware, Ohio area just southwest of Columbus. Looking for WLS people at any stage, who would be interested in attending. Please let us know what day of the week that you could NOT Attend. We will keep you posted as to our status. Also let us know if you would like to volunteer in some manner, as we are looking for some help to get this group going. Thanks and we are looking forward to meeting all of you soon. Gayle, I live in Bucyrus. Haven't gotten my date yet though. Will this be at night or during the day? Can't attend Thursday or Friday. Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday are ok though. Peggy

Peggy, I am looking to have a night meeting. 7:30p-9p ,once a month, most likely Tuesday or Wednesday. You are very welcome to join no matter what stage or surgery you may have. So anyone from the very beginning of learning about weight loss surgery to years post-op. Even though I am in training with ObesityHelp and have had surgery. I know there are wonderful people that can be an asset to many in any stage of their journey. Including me. Please join us Peggy. gayle

Hi Gayle, I would be interested in a support group. I am currently 10 or so months out since surgery and moved to Central Ohio ( now living in Morrow County--- in Cardington and working in Marion ( near Sears off 423) Had surgery..RNY in California and really havent lost anything in months..pretty much maintaining and do get a bit discouraged and really dont know anyone here that can relate. Pls email me or reply to my response so we could figure out when and where a support group could be. I did attend one in Cali shortly after my surgery and the ladies were helpful in giving me advise..but with the move and all...I lost contact and could no longer attend. I know how to get to Delaware area as its not too far.. Looking forward to hearing from you..and looks as if you were in My OL' neck of the woods of disneyland not all that long ago Hugs from a cold Cardington area Lisa

Lisa, You are just a hop and a skip from me. I do have a place to have our meetings. It's just west of Delaware off 36. About a mile out of town. You would be a great asset to the group! I also want to have a clothing exchange before or after the meeting. I have so many clothes that don't fit me already. Thank you for replying to my post! I will write you later this week. Hugs!! Gayle
