Looking for Ohio VSG surgeon

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows any surgeons in the NE Ohio area doing vertical sleeves? I am self-pay, so looking for a deal...lol Also I am a low BMI patient, and in my research I find there are many surgeons unwilling to do this for me because of my BMI. I believe Dr. Phil Schauer at the Cleveland Clinic might be a good bet, check him out. Don't know anything about lower BMI and/or cost though. Dr. C

Can you define Low BMI? How low are we talking? Do you have comorbs? Many docs won't scoff at a BMI as low as 35 with some serious comorbs. If you're looking at cost, have you considered out of the country? There are some fabulous docs out there with hospitals of the "rich and famous" in Mexico and Brazil and the cost is about a third of what you'd pay here. Those who went there for the DS say they received the best care they've ever imagined, better than what they've had at home.
