I'm in the Dayton area springboro to be exact and I have a meeting with Dr. Schumacher next week. I did not go to Lap Band meeting first I did research here and asked to meet...is this one you're referring to with only 20 surgeries...their office told me 100s? So now I'm confused!

Beth, Whatever surgeon you choose, you need to ask exactly how many that specific surgeon has done. Not how many the entire group has done, or how many the hospital has done, or how many their friends and family have done. It doesn't matter if the center has done 1000 bands if the guy who is going to be operating on you has only done 10. Dr. C PS I don't know anything about the surgeons you mentioned, I certainly don't mean to imply that they are inexperienced as I have no knowledge!
