I want implants

Is a lift mandatory. I am nott really that saggy. I just have extra skin that needs filled in. Think a dr. would just do the iplant. Make them a size larger. at least a D I have always had the big breast. Kind of miss them. The lift cost a arm and leg an implant is not that much. Thanjks for your inpt Barb

I hear ya sister..the "girls" need an up-do. I also need a tummy tuck and lower body lift and the wings on my arms to fly away. The kids love to play with the loose skin which makes it even worse for me. Anyway, good luck I'm getting everything, even if it means getting a loan from the bank..... Pam 314/130

Hey Barb According to Dr martin, bariatric patients tend to loose the pockets for the implants and sometimes need to go back in if they need to be put back in place. I would think that not getting a lift to tighten things would increase that chance. When I get my 2nd round, around April, I'm getting a lift without implants. He's just using my surrounding fat to stuff my boobs. However, you don;t have the fat I still have. I would consult Dr Martin. He's WAY cool. Sharyn

What is your cost for the lift? Maybe I need to see Dr Martin. Im really not sagging. But there is the extra skin. It is really skin is is like they are not full like they was. They are just there. Not purky. They are not even near my elbows so I know insurance wont pay. What does your stomach look like. Is it flat. I bet you look great... Thanks Barb

Well, the stomach is not completely done. I'm a work in progress. Plus, I was still a pretty big girl, I'm only 5 feet. Anyway - I will say that I can see things I haven't seen in ages!! I don't know the cost of the lift because I'm also getting a backlift and my thighs done during the second round. I just wish I didn;t have to wait until April. Sharyn

Barb are you seen at the base for anything? We have a new plastic surgeon in and he is interested in helping us post weight loss surgery patients. They have a new program that you pay for your implants 1,000 up front and 1/2 of the cost of the surg and then the rest on a six month payment plan. You might want to check into it. Tammy O friend from support group is having arms and boobs done and cost is 7,800 so dont know what just boobs would be.
