10 Months out today

I have to say I can't believe that I am 10 months out today. The time has gone so fast. I am having a very hard time looking at my reflection in mirrors though. I look then take a double look to see if its really me, I still can't believe I look like this. The funny thing is I am being told to stop loosing now and well, from what I have learned, reseached and been told my body will stop when its ready, at least I hope it does. I have never seen so many bones in my body before and I had no idea I had collar bones ....Anyway, the total loss thus far is 160lbs, maybe a little more but thats a nice even number to talk about. Thanks to everyone for always giving me the support I need.....Pam

Boy you have lost alot of weight in 10 months. I am 8 months out and I am down 105 pounds. 6 pounds from goal. Congrats on your success with this surgery. You sure do look great. If you feel like I feel you feel like a million bucks. Best Wishes Barb

You're awesome Pam. I wanted to be Dr C's star patient, but it looks like the honor is all yours! Congrats! Of course, it doesn't help that I couldn't ge the scale to move for over a month. But, it's finally moving again. Sharyn

Sharyn, I dont think he would really consider me his star patient but at least I'm no longer the problem patient. And your doing great, I have done the scale thing several times so don't worry you will start to drop again....Pam
