Wowza - I don't remember it being that expensive!  But, I do remember eating out of the CVS on the corner a lot because I couldn't afford the restaurants, so maybe so!

Topic: RE: Donald Sterling Nailed!

This was nothing but business decision on the part of the commissioner. Sterling was trapped pure and simple, but the fact that it caught the attention of the world forced the commissioner to act swift and strong. Here are my theories to why this heavy punishment was levied:

1. The commish has been on the job for less than 90 days. He had to show that he is strong and fast.

2. The media is eating this thing up like its an all you can eat buffet. The commish looks the other way or gives out a light punishment and the media will start feasting on him.

3. Sterling has a resume full of past aggressions that went completely overlooked. This punishment wasn't just for this situation.

4. Every single sponsor for the Clippers jumped ship over night. This is financially unacceptable for the NBA.

5. $25K means alot to Matt Barnes. The reality is he bought the Clippers for $12 million and he will sell them for $600+.  $2.5 million means very little to Donald Sterling, but not being able to sit courtside at the games means a lot.

The NBA is run by lawyers, and I'm sure every single one of them was consulted on this decision. So if Sterling wants to fight this, he better be ready to rumble.

Topic: OH welcomes Masterchef Judge Graham Elliot as our keynote speaker

ObesityHelp is honored to have MasterChef and MasterChef Junior Judge Graham Elliot join our ObesityHelp National Conference 2014.  Not only is he a critically acclaimed chef, television personality and one of the most recognized faces in cooking today, he is a successful Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (VSG) post-ops.  In less than one year, Graham has lost an amazing 150 pounds, and changed his health and his life.  Graham will share his insights and engage with our attendees for an open question/answer portion of his keynote.

We hope you'll join us and be inspired by Graham's success along with the other fun, education and support that our attendees walk away with from attending our Conferences.  We hope to see you at our 2014 Conference with Graham Elliot.

That they are but they did not ban them for life? I think Sterling is an idiot but he had that conversation in private not on Twitter or at a game. I just think what is good for the goose is good for the gander.

As a Minnesotan I can say that I love it here for a lot of the same reasons as Sandy. The people are almost always a lot friendlier than other places I've lived. Even when I lived in Minneapolis it was "nicer" than when I lived in Madison, WI. I currently live in this regions "big city" lol. I think there are around 220,000 people in Fargo-Moorhead community, but we are surrounded by very small communities and the middle of nowhere isn't too far in almost any direction. :)

I love that there is plenty here to do yet I am very close to the wilderness. Lakes, rivers, forests, and prairies all of which provide state parks, hiking, biking, exploring, the spotting of wildlife, and more. My definition of a good time involves being outdoors and it's a bonus if it happens to be in the woods in a tent.

Well in defense of the NBA of late, Matt Barnes was fined $25k for using the N word on twitter and Kobe Bryant was fined $250k for saying a gay slur in a game. The NFL has suspended players for off the field activities as well. They have a long way to go, but they are at least making progress.

The Waldorf is in a great location but, yes, the price of food (ANY food... ever see grocery store prices?) is unbelievable.  Just today I paid 17.00 for a corned beef reuben with fries from a regular diner.
