Maybe because the OP deleted it as soon as she (apparently) got a couple of responses she didn't like.  Just like she had now delete almost half of HER responses to people on THIS thread (which SHE started).

She accused other people of being unkind and then apparently was unkind enough herself to other people on THIS thread that she was embarrassed to leave her own replies up!  Not the way to make friends and influence people...

Unfortunately, the valid point(s) she may have had are going to be ignored because of her hit-and-run, post-and-delete (and, presumable, to follow) block-unblock-reply-reblock) approach.

First she *****es about what SHE thought were mean replies (or whatever) and the she is apparently so "unkind" that she goes around deleting half of her responses!!  WTH?!?

Yeah, add this poster to list of those people who will get automatically quoted in the future.

People delete posts because they don't stand by what they say.

People can't stand by what they say.  I once posted something that some people thought could be hurtful - but rather than deleting it, I posted and exclamation and apology.

But to delete a post just because it isn't something you want to hear - then why bother posting?  Apparently, all you want to hear is "Aw, too bad" or "You're so inspiring"........  That doesn't always happen in the world of open forums.

So you would like to address the issue of how people respond in this forum?

I agree completely. My issue is not with differing opinions it is with the way they are stated.

But I am saying that the way views are stated can only be interpreted through the mind of the reader. Some views are expressed in a way which leaves no doubt - they are rude! But many may be seen as rude when they were not so intended. I have many times seen posts from people saying they are upset and then when I and others, look at the thread, it is not possible to see what caused the upset.

So I am not denying nastiness! I am just saying readers should take care before assuming that was the intent.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
