I was pulling your leg    Is it available on demand because I quite fancy watching it, but haven't done so far?   What do you think of it?  Recommended?

I'm sure it will be on demand at some point - it's on FX here in the States.  I like it very much, but I might be a little biased since I grew up 20 miles from the real Fargo.  Lots of gruesome murders in all sorts of imaginative ways!

i have it DVR'ed. hope to watch it this weekend. the reviews are good.....we shall see.

I had high hopes because I like that kind of odd/darkly funny type of TV show or movie. But I really haven't gotten hooked on this one. After last night, actually, I think I am done.

I wouldn't say it was bad. I just haven't been pulled into it after 2 episodes. I know, I know, doesn't really sound like I have given it much of a chance.

For me it's best chance is going to be in a marathon viewing of a whole season in a day.

I'm so out of it that I thought you were referring to the movie.

Yes - it's a 10 episode mini series on FX.  Billy Bob Thornton is the main star.

I don't know jack about the movie, but every time I've driven through there (probably half a dozen times on family vacations growing up), everybody was super friendly! :)
