Can't find rants and raves

I've been researching for a long time too! I mostly lurk, but I'm glad that there are helpful people on the forums.

Me, too. We are supposed to be helpful to our fellow man, for we are all brothers and sisters, right? It's so nice to meet you. 

I've never seen this other site you all are talking about, but it sounds dreadful. What was the point of it?

So far I've found mostly support and encouragement. I'm glad I haven't run into any really bad apples.

Thanks for noticing the weight loss. I'm just beginning to notice it myself. Unfortunately, the number seems impressive only because I had so much to lose in the first place.

Um, excuse me? You have lost an amazing amount in pretty short order!

Are you the person I talked with about Dr. Aranow and me going to one of his support groups? I'm in Farmington.

That wasn't me, but it's still a small world. I went with Dr. Aranow because my sister used him for her sleeve a couple of years ago, and she just raves about him. I ageee completely. She's your neighbor, practically, in Manchester. I'm up in Greenfield MA, but it worked out since I could stay with her for a couple of days after surgery. 

As I said wasn't a frequent poster but truthfully I thought it had its place- i.e. somewhere for the vets to blow off a little steam when they were frustrated by seeing the same question for about the 1278th time just because some people didn't use the search button or read back quite a few pages. Better on rants and raves than on the original frustrating post.

The vets still have a place to vent and say whatever they want- it's just that now the venting can't be read by the people they vent about.
