I had a training years ago and some prison guards from Marcy were there. They get the worse guys in NY state. They have him and several other high profile guys. They siad it is wild how they bring them in like Hanibal Lecter fully armed. Then say later and these guards are not armed. They had some wild stories of just randomly being assaulted. They said you never knew. I asked why they did it and they told me with over time they make over 100 grand a year. Whi*****entral NY that goes a long way. I still do not think it is worth it.
Another interesting one is Andrei Chikatilo. Serial killer, cannibal, pedophile, torturer. He managed to kill over 50 people, mostly children, because the Russians did not want any publicity about the murders.

I don't really follow the serial killer stories, but I just wanna say that when John Lithgow played the bad guy in "Dexter" that was probably one of the freakiest things EVER.

Favorite umm none. The one I remember so well Michael Ross, he murdered young womyn when I was a teenager, it was scary because they were just going missing. One of the dead girls worked down the street from my office when I first started working. He was thankfully put to death a few years back to end the nightmare he created. He is Connecticut's only serial killer.
I once looked a notorious ( in Texas anyway ) serial killer right the damn eyes-on accident of course. His name was Kenneth McDuff. My mother and I were on a tour of the Ellis Unit outside of Huntsville, Texas. ( aka the now former Death Row for male inmates ), and was in the infirmary with my tour group. McDuff happened to be in there at the same time we were. ( I don't remember exactly why he was there ). I happened to glance up and look around. He was staring right at me. His eyes were devoid of anything resembling color....except they were rimmed with red. Scary. Super scary. I was freaked out. I held it together until the tour was over.
Side note: one of the rules during the tour: no eye contact with inmates. Oops.
I woke up in between a memory and a dream...
