Firearms
Sorry Jackie! My cousin (age 35) killed himself a year ago with a shotgun. My aunt is now just a shell of the woman she used to be. She doesn't live anymore--she just makes it through each day.
That's how my mom was for a few years, even though they had been divorced for a while. She was the one who found him that night so it was tough on her (high school sweethearts). It doesn't get better, I won't lie and say that your aunt will get better. But she does say it's easier now. Best wishes to your aunt and your family!
Proud mama of Mischa and Gabriel, both born post-op.
Very few ranges allow drawing. Our local indoor range will allow it but you have to test out in front of the range master before it's allowed. My in laws own a farm 15 miles from me and I can shoot in their small woods. We also own 45 acres of hunting land "up north" where I can shoot and do darn near whatever I want. I really want to do a tactical gun course taught by ex - special forces guys. Learn from the best, hopefully I'll never need it but doesn't hurt to be prepared. Plus it will just be FUN :)
