Blocks
Welcome to my world LOL! Some people are prolific blockers - they must think there are only about three people on some forums - others block for mental health reasons ...
I don't have ANYONE blocked at the moment - feeling like spreading the word, but still get gaps in the conversation because some people don't like me (that crying face is a lie, I really couldn't care less, it's their loss of my rapier wit, British sensibilities and charm (special winky face!)
Congratulations on losing your blocked cherry - if you want to read what they said, you just log out and you can see EVERYONE - still can't reply or PM though

There was someone here a few months ago - I can't remember the screen name - that blocked an entire group of people, even those with whom she never had any interaction. Guilt by association, I guess you would call it.
From my perspective, you can't really know or judge people if you bury your head in the sand. Unless you rely on others to tell you how to think. I think that's sad.

Um, I have blocked people without interacting with them. This is mostly because they are either so nasty or so stooopid, that I will not waste my precious time on them. Blocking saves me from having to scroll past them. I have a pretty high tolerance level, yet once that threshold is crossed... Everyone here has the right to post whatever they want, and I have the right not to read it.
You have a very valid point. I do have one person blocked on OH simply because her daily posts are not related to anything regarding weight loss and do not offer anything valuable.
And time is valuable. So much is repetitive and not very helpful or interesting.

I liken the personalities of the posters to genres of literature. So many books, so little time and some genres are more attractive to me than others. My husband LOVES science fiction; it bores me to tears. I love historical fiction. When I read a real good one, I know he will not be reading it next. When we go to a bookstore, we don't even walk down the same aisles. And that's OK
