Yay Walking Dead!  R and I watch it every week and he's also reading the trade paperbacks as they come out.

The Grove was seriously gutting.  I agree.  I thought the second half of this season was soooooo slloooooowwwwww though.  Ugh.  I hope that next season picks things up again.

The real walking dead in the show are the humans, not the zombs. :/

And the Terminus folks are totally cannibals.  "Yay."

I believe the next season will start with them escaping Terminus and then getting to DC.  Yay DC!!

If you're a zombie fan, I can't recommend the Zombies Run! app enough.  The normal app is 2-3 minute segments of "missions" that alternate with whatever playlist you give it.  It's an awesome exercise app and I find that I really look forward to working out so I can hear the next part of the story!  There is also a 5K training app for Zombies Run! that I went through last year and it's great.  It's a couch 2 5K type of thing, but I find it to be better than the standard C25K training.

Ha! Zombie Run. I'm gonna have to look that up. I'm most interested in the 5K training app, but the 2-3 minute segments sound interesting, too.

And yeah, the second half of the season was slow. I couldn't help wonder how they were going to finish off the season considering I didn't think they were going anywhere, but they wrapped it up well enough.

The 5K app is pretty solid.  Your trainers chatter on the radio and tell you what to do and it plays your playlist in between while you're actually doing things.  There are prompts too, when you need to change what you're doing.

Unlike the traditional C25K, this one involves stuff like skipping, heel lifts, and even some stretching breaks.  I was surprised that I was successful with it on the elliptical last year since I pretty much expect to fail at everything exercise related. :P

I agree that the last episode was a good wrap up.  I assume Carol and Tyrese will come in like hell blazing to save everyone ;)

I've absolutely agonized over Carol through her whole story arc. I dismissed her when she was a mousy, down and out abused wife. I cheered her for her new-found backbone when she stood up to her husband finally. I wanted to kick her in the pants when she seemed so aimless and useless, and then I cried for her when she lost Sophia. I was cautiously saying "You go, girl!" when she turned out to be one of the strongest ones of the group and took over a leadership role in the prison, but I questioned her teaching the kids self defense skills. When she killed and burned the first two flu victims, I was done with her. "We don't kill the living, Carol!" I remember shouting at the TV when she admitted that she had killed them. I wished the worst for her when Rick kicked her out, thinking it was a good thing to get rid of a murderer. But then, The Grove episode, and I got some real clarity about Carol. She's actually one of the strongest ones of the group, always has been. Carol does what needs to be done for the benefit of the group, no matter how hard it is. She's far from emotionless, she actually feels everything she has to do deeply, but she does it anyway because it's what needs to be done.

I was wrong to judge her so harshly. Carol is a total badass.

I completely agree with everything you said.  And yes, she is a total badass and a very strong character.

I agree, too, except I understood why she did what she did with the flu victims. I knew they had to be on the verge of death and she wanted to prevent a potential problem. Although I didn't get why she brought them out and burned them.  I think she could've made better choices.

I was super happy, though, that she confessed to Tyrese about what she did and that he forgave her.

Absolutely. I love that the title of the show works on both levels like that.
