You'll be fine- A good friend of mine was sleeved around the same time as me by him and is doing well. Just find multi-vites that u can tolerate now- chewable arent always the best tasting after surgery . You'll do great just fight the urge to give into the pain and walk your ass off. Best wishes

Im sorry Tom, I didn't get a chance to update my page. 7 yrs ago I canceled that surgery the day of. I thought I was ready I guess I wasn't. thanks

The body needs to "catch up" to the weight loss....
Look at it like a teeter-totter....with pounds on one side, inches on the other....
As you lose pounds, you won't lose inches....as the pounds slow down/stall, you lose inches...then you start losing pounds and (mostly) stop losing inches...it goes back and forth....
It's the best visual (May not be 100% accurate for EVERYONE), but it shows the point.

ok, I'm curious, profile said RNY in 2004, and you said you just had the sleeve....they sleved the pouch and redid your intestines?

2. Are you getting all your vitamins in? If so, are they designed for WLS? Due to mal-absorbtion, "normal" vitamins may not get into your system.
3. If you are tremendously concerned, call your surgeon's office.
4. Ask at your sugeon's support group of anyone have similar experience 4 months out....

I know the eating part will be hard as your new stomach starts to heal.I'm the first case,So that means my surgery will be at 8 in the morning,Very excited about that because thats what i wanted.12 more days and i'll be on that bench with you.Who knows maybe we might run into each other day while at the office for follow up vist.
