Kim,

Sounds great!

I worked till 2:30 then left for a baseball game that my youngest (15yo) plays on Varsity. It was a good game. Sun was nice but wind was nasty!

Now in my PJ's getting ready to watch Idol.

So do you sell your candles?? I love good smelling ones.

2 more days then it's the weekend! Whoo, hoo! I have a retirement party Saturday night. Should be fun and yummy food. I ordered Prime Rib. I need to find something to wear though.

I want to thank you posting. Keep checking in!

Have a good night,
Lisa

I would plan on staying on the Canadian side, the hotel rates are much cheaper, and there is about 150% more to do over there than the american side.  Have a great trip!!

Hi New York OHers...

I'm planning a trip to the Niagra Falls area in late June/early July this year.  I'm looking for hotel recommendations and not-to-be-missed attraction recommendations.

Is it possible to get a nice hotel for $100-$150 a night? or am I looking at spending more?

I have AARP or AAA discounts available to me....  I will have a rental car....

I have Maid of the Mist and the big ferris wheel on my to-do list, what else do you recommend?  I'm not really a "casino" person but plan to a least check it out....

We have passports so the Canadian side is a possibility....anything over there?

Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.....

Sarah,

Have you thought about going to the Sisters OB/GYN Center? Here is the list of gynecologists who practice there: http://www.chsbuffalo.org/Facilities/PrimaryCare/SistersHeal thCenter

Synergy Bariatrics performs its procedures at Sisters Hospital, so I would assume that the Sisters gynecologists are WLS-friendly.

I finally made it to Highland Hospital (Rochester NY) support group meeting last night.  The parking ramp entrance was backed up so i was a few minutes late and the scheduled speaker did not show up.  But, it was super anyhow.  There were vitamin samples from Celebrate and Building Blocks and we introduced ourselves and broke off into small groups.  It was really nice to hear first hand from a few post ops on the reality of surgery.  I am so glad I finally was able to attend and I hope to go to next months meeting if I am feeling well enough ( as it is about 8 days after my surgery).
