I went through that too. Enjoy your honeymoon phase. Make sure you get in your protein but enjoy that you have no desire to eat. I am 18 mths out and actually get hungry again. I miss the days where I didn't care if I ate or not. It's a lot easier to keep things in check. LOL

Hey Becky-
I was in a medium size group at the front of the room by the podium. I can't remember what I wore-isn't that sad!

Hi!! I am 5 months post-op and at times go through the same thing. One recipe I can always always fall back on for something I love...is a stuffed pepper. What I do is take 4 peppers and hollow them out. I then in a bowl take a can of seasoned crushed tomatoes, a can of tomatoe sauce, and sleeve of crushed salt free crackers, I mix it all up fill the pepper cover the top with a pinch of ff cheese and bake it in the oven at 350 in a pan with about an inch of water in the bottom for one hour. It is extremly yummy and one peper lasts me about 4 meals!! But trust me I get days were just nothing feels good..and i have to choke down the food. I hope my recipe helps...have a good day :-)

im almost 7 weeks so on full foods just not alot of it. shoot 1/4 of a small wendys chili fills me up. there really isnt anything i can do but make myself eat. i try to make diff recipes so i dont get bored but thats a pain too since i eat so little i have so many left overs in the fridge and i end up throwing most of it out since it goes bad before i can ever eat it talk about a waste of money. i have tried to freeze left overs but alot of it doesnt taste as good when you do that and reheat it. i been trying to make stuff my hubby will eat too esp if i dont tell him all the substitutions i made to make it healthy lol. i know one thing i obviously lose alot slower then most i have noticed and that bothers me but i guess i should be happy im losing period. i probably wouldnt care as much if i didnt have important events at the 3 and 5 months mark. shoot girl you want open and honest you should read my pages of blogs i am very open and honest lol i know when i was pre op and read hundreds of profiles hated how vague ppl were so i said i wouldnt do that so you will see each event is pretty detailed and some of it is TMI but at least ppl will see what i went thru honestly. hope your journey goes well and ill save a seat for ya on the losers bench =)

Thanks for sharing that- I am still pre-op and am so glas people are honest and open about what they are experiencing. Let us know how you work through it too, what works for you, solutions and things that didn't work. What stage of food are you on now? Maybe as you progress it will get better.

Hi Old Friend,
I too have regained a significant amount of my weight back, but and working hard to chip away. I think of you frequently, wonder how you are doing, and smiled when I saw your new post on these boards. Hope you are feeling well and that despite a setback, you still understand how much you have achieved on this journey.
Love and hugs,
Amy
