Was a busy day and I was tired when I got home. I just made my Self a Protein Shake. I've been trying my own concoctions. I mixed a scoop of CVS Vanilla Protein Whey. 7 Oz of Skim Milk., Some Sugar Free Jello instant Pudding (Butter Scotch) some Ice.
Came out pretty yummy.
Anyone else have combinations that they like?

Hello NY friends!
What did everyone have for "din, din"??
I was bad and went out for turkey clubs. BOGO free at a local place and they are yummy! I do not eat much of the bread and only eat 2 quarters.
Tomorrow is hump day!! Then we will be on the down slope for the weekend. Whoo, hoo!
I tried a new protein sample today and it was yummy. It was the About Time chocolate. It said to add 8oz of water (or liquid) and I wish I had added less. Too watery for me. A Yohoo consistancy though which is nice. I am going to try the ......B-day Cake flavor tomorrow.
Soooo....what did everyone else have for dinner??

To keep myself focused and on track, I post my food the night before or in the early morning. I have been posting on the graduates page and it is nice for me because others are posting with me and I really appreciate my new friends.
I did not log my meals for today until just now and what I realized is that I grazed into the bag of kettle corn someone brought to works today. All set for tomorrow, though! N

Well my insurance approved me....but now I am still waiting on a date..called the Dr.'s office they said I should be getting a call within a week or so..so that gives them until this Friday...I am so excited and I know I am being impatient but it seems I have been waiting forever..thank you OH family for being here for me! and I will be posting the second I have a date!..

Good Morning!
I am having trouble with snacking. Actually I'll call it what it is for me -- GRAZING on carbs!!! I discovered I can eat small amounts of anything without dumping and I can do it often. That let all the bad habits back in with a vengeance. I haven't gained, but I am in the longest stall ever. Now that I've gotten through all the stress of my daughter's wedding and had a very long talk with my GP about depression, I am ready to tackle the demons. I am going back to basics for a bit, maybe try the five day pouch test to help beat the carb monster (aka: carb addiction).
Wish me luck! Off to make myself some breakfast.

For those of you waiting for surgery just keep searching the boards for great ideas, suggestions, recipes and feel good things!
For those of you struggling keep searching ....for the reasons mentioned above too.
I am a little over 1 1/2 yrs out and I am seeing the old bad habits kicking around.
Keep checking in and together we can do this!

I wish I was that good! I am the most unorganized person. I have a calandar book in my pocketbook with dates that I usually forget about and that I usually forget to write in it!
